I'm David Starbuck Smith — Exercise Therapist, former pro athlete, biomechanics expert, and an aging guy who's hell-bent on moving well until he's 100. I built The Daily Motion Lab for myself first, because I needed something that fit real life and kept my body healthy.
These come from my 25 years of coaching real bodies, from elite athletes to people who'd be thrilled just to stop hurting. They're built around what keeps a body moving for the long haul, not just what looks good in the mirror (well, maybe that, too).
These sessions make ALL
THE DIFFERENCE! So grateful.

Hike, play with your kids, ski, travel without your back screaming at you. The Daily Motion Lab is for people who plan on being active for a very long time and want a program built by someone who's doing exactly that.
You've been active your whole life and you're not stopping. You need a smarter way to keep doing it without wrecking yourself.
You know you need to move more but 60-minute workouts aren't happening. Fifteen focused minutes is a "yes" you can actually keep.
You've had injuries, you've tried the gym, you want to understand what your body actually needs — not just sweat for the sake of it.
You're thinking long. You want to be the person who's still hiking at 75, still playing pickleball at 80, still moving on your own terms.
no matter one's age, it's essential to remain strong and flexible. Stretching daily is super important to my confidence!
